The digs for the event was the Cotehele Lodge B&B (www.cotehelelodge.co.uk) on the main road into the heart of Newquay, owned by a crazy bloke called Nick.  Not crazy because he was letting a load of lads stay.  Oh no.  Take a ride out with this man in his boat across the beaches of Newquay and you would soon find out why.  See The Speedboat.  With one room the size of a stamp squashing Hero, Bodge-It & Rhythm into it, and the room next door squashing a further 6 into two bunk beds and a double bed, it held all the right ingredients for a good lads hol.  Gangsta and Electro Kid wisely stayed at another B&B down the road.  Wise because it meant they didn't have to risk sleeping in the same bed as Memphis.  With the cars arriving before Chuggsy, Shag and Laze quickly grabbed the bunk beds.  But with one double bed it was evident straws would be drawn.  Shag protested more than any, claiming he was the most unlucky bloke in the world and he was bound to end up in the double with Memphis.  With a 1 in 25 chance of being in the double bed, and being in it with Memphis, Shag was persuaded to take part in the bed lottery.  As Hero placed a Clubflat card from each person face down on the bed, the room shuddered as one by one they were turned over and it was discovered that Memphis would be in the double bed.  But who with?  The room then erupted with laughter.  Yes Shag was correct, he really is the most unlucky bloke in the world! A 1 in 25 chance and he got it! HA!  Not surprisingly he spent much of the next 4 days on the floor.  But he was probably the safest from Memphis.  Night after night, Memphis would be the last one back with Hero, meaning that whoever was already back and asleep would get 'bellnotised' with the 'hypnobell'.  So many phrases arose this holiday as a result of Memphis' Bellmania antics it was untrue, see Memorable Moments.  Bluff took the hit for the team most nights as Memphis would taunt him and wrestle him naked!  Bluff didn't know what hit him.  Recovering from a brutal assault, he described the horror of how Memphis dived in his bunk bed, butt naked rubbing his 'bits' up and down his leg.  The scars would be permanent.  As he sleepily and angrily began to wrestle Memphis out his bed, he summoned all his built up fury and well and truly told Memphis off in true 'Good Vs Evil' comic book style.... "NEVER, COME, BACK"!
