The sun was shining brightly, things were looking good.  So now it remained to start the day with a mammoth all-day breakfast at the pick-up point, a place where Quick Buck has for a long time held a love affair with - Kingswinford Snooker Club.   Outside gleaming in the sunlight and stealing the show was Chuggsy.  Chuggsy is Image and Quick Buck's "surfer-dude" van in which they have toured most of the UK in search of a wave.  A bright green ex-National Flag van that resembles a pile of snot on wheels.  But we love it none-the-less.  And the looks it gets as it zooms along like a runny nose.  Converted to run on vegetable oil, Chuggsy was going to get us 500 miles to Newquay and back for about 20p.  The smell that emanates from the van with the engine is running is like standing outside the back of a chip shop when they leave the back door open.  It doesn't half make you hungry!  In the van sharing the driving were Image and Quick Buck, with Bluff, Hero and Memphis in the back.  The rest took cars to Newquay and so piled all their stuff in the back of Chuggsy.  Wet suits, golf clubs, suitcases and lots of big containers of vegetable oil containing Quick Bucks carefully calculated fuel for the trip.  How amusing it was to pull on the services and load container after container of veggie oil into the fuel tank on the car park, whilst people looked on puzzled.  That'll be 2p to refill sir.  F*@k you global oil prices and Gordon Brown!  Whilst Hero had produced the usual crazy amount of Clubflat cards to promote the main event, Memphis had gone one better.  He whipped out and proudly displayed in excess of 1,500 Clubflat stickers which would soon be adorning the sights of Newquay!  Peoples eyes rolled as they imagined the recklessness these would cause over the next 4 days.  And so the journey began...
